Human IL-6 ELISpot Kit

The Human IL-6 ELISpot Kit from Assay Genie enables single-cell detection of interleukin-6 secreting cells using a microplate pre-coated with anti-IL-6 capture antibody. Cultured cells deposit cytokine locally onto the membrane, where bound cytokine forms discrete immunospots after incubation with biotinylated detection antibody and enzyme-conjugated streptavidin. Spots are counted with an automated reader, yielding the frequency of IL-6-producing cells. Common applications include T cell functional profiling, vaccine immunogenicity studies, autoimmune disease research, and inflammation pathway characterization. The kit includes pre-coated plate, detection antibody, streptavidin conjugate, substrate, wash buffer, and diluents sufficient for 96 Assays. Components should be stored refrigerated and protected from light between uses to preserve enzymatic activity.
