IL-5 (Interleukin-5) is a Th2-associated cytokine that drives eosinophil proliferation, activation, and recruitment, making this chemiluminescence immunoassay a useful tool for studies of asthma, allergic inflammation, helminth infection, and other eosinophilic conditions. The Assay Genie CLIA platform delivers a wider dynamic range and lower detection limit than conventional colorimetric ELISA, supporting accurate quantification of human IL-5 in serum, plasma, and culture supernatants.

The kit is supplied as a 96-well microplate pre-coated with capture antibody, along with lyophilized standards, detection antibody, and substrate working solution. A typical run uses 50 µL of sample per well, with incubation, washing, and signal development completed in under four hours.
