Human IL-4 CLIA Kit (HUES00097)

Assay Genie provides this chemiluminescence-based immunoassay for the in vitro quantitative determination of Human IL-4 concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The kit targets Human IL-4 and is intended for research applications in immunology, where IL-4 is recognised as an important biomarker in studies of immune regulation, inflammation, and conditions such as asthma, allergies, and autoimmune disorders.

The assay operates on a Sandwich-CLIA principle and delivers a sensitivity of 7.50 pg/mL across a detection range of 12.50–800 pg/mL, with a total assay time of 3.5 hours. The protocol requires a sample volume of 100 μL of serum, plasma or other biological fluids.

The kit detects Human IL-4 in samples with no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Human IL-4 and analogues reported, and both intra-CV and inter-CV are stated as less than 15%. A pre-coated antibody on the microplate is paired with a biotinylated detection antibody and an Avidin-HRP conjugate; the Relative Light Unit (RLU) value, read on a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyser, is positively correlated with Human IL-4 concentration and quantified by comparison with a standard curve.
