Human IL-36B/IL-36 beta ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human IL-36B (also known as IL-36 beta) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody sandwich format employs a biotin-labeled detection antibody, an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The assay offers a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and an analytical range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Reported linearity ranges are 87–104% for serum, 83–100% for EDTA plasma, and 82–100% for heparin plasma across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions, with recovery of 94–103% (average 98%) for serum, 87–101% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 85–101% (average 91%) for heparin plasma. IL-36 beta is a proinflammatory cytokine involved in immune and inflammatory responses, with research relevance to psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease, and rheumatoid arthritis.

The workflow includes a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by 60-minute detection antibody binding, 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin binding, and 10–20 minutes of TMB color development in the dark. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
