Human IL-35 CLIA Kit (HUES01275)

From Assay Genie, this chemiluminescence (CLIA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Human IL-35 in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. It uses a Sandwich-CLIA principle on a microplate pre-coated with antibody specific to Human IL-35, with signal generated through a biotinylated detection antibody and an Avidin-HRP conjugate, producing a Relative Light Unit (RLU) value positively associated with the concentration of Human IL-35.

Performance specifications taken from the product data include an assay time of 3.5h, sensitivity of 4.69 pg/mL, detection range of 7.81-500 pg/mL, sample volume of 100 μL, and reproducibility where both intra-CV and inter-CV are below 15%. Recovery values were 92-107% (average 99%) in serum (n=5), 96-110% (average 102%) in EDTA plasma (n=5) and 101-113% (average 107%) in cell culture media (n=5). Intra-assay CV values of 8.2%, 7.42% and 10.7% and inter-assay CV values of 10.27%, 11.16% and 7.67% were reported.

The kit recognises Human IL-35 in samples with no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Human IL-35 and analogues. IL-35 is described as a key cytokine involved in regulating immune responses and inflammation, and a valuable biomarker for studying autoimmune diseases, inflammatory conditions and cancer.
