Human IL-31RA/IL-31 receptor alpha ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human IL-31RA (IL-31 receptor alpha) using a colorimetric double-antibody format. The assay reacts with human samples and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Linearity testing at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 gave recoveries of 85–98%, 85–100%, and 91–102% for serum; 85–95%, 83–98%, and 90–101% for EDTA plasma; and 80–99%, 81–100%, and 81–97% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery values were 86–103% (average 96%) for serum, 95–104% (average 99%) for EDTA plasma, and 97–105% (average 100%) for heparin plasma.

IL-31RA is the receptor subunit that binds IL-31, a cytokine implicated in inflammatory and allergic responses, and dysregulation of IL-31 signaling has been linked to skin disorders, autoimmune disease, and allergic conditions.
