Human IL-31 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this ELISA kit enables the quantitative measurement of IL-31 in human samples. It uses a sandwich ELISA format based on a double-antibody principle, delivering a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and a measurable range of 7.813–500 pg/mL. The assay has been validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, and cell or tissue lysate, and is also suitable for a range of other liquid sample types.

IL-31 is a cytokine involved in inflammatory and allergic responses and in the regulation of skin barrier function. Elevated levels have been associated with several inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, making this kit a useful tool for related research. The workflow includes reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C to allow antigen binding, biotinylated detection antibody incubation, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB color development in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
