Human IL-3 ELISA Kit (HUFI00175)

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of IL-3 in human samples using a colorimetric, double-antibody method. IL-3 is a cytokine involved in regulating the immune response and hematopoiesis, and measuring its levels is relevant to research into inflammatory diseases, autoimmune disorders, and hematological malignancies.

The assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It has a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months. Reported recovery averages are 97% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma, and 97% for heparin plasma, with linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions remaining within 80–103% across these sample types.

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and the TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples and a zero control onto the pre-coated plate, and incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes. A biotin-labelled detection antibody is then added (37°C, 60 minutes), followed by HRP-Streptavidin (37°C, 30 minutes). TMB substrate is added and incubated in the dark for 10–20 minutes before the reaction is stopped and absorbance read at 450 nm.
