Human IL-3 ELISA Kit (HUEB0026)

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Interleukin-3 (IL-3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is specific for natural and recombinant human IL-3.

IL-3 is a secreted monomeric cytokine involved in hematopoiesis, supporting the production, differentiation and function of granulocytes, macrophages, mast cells, stem cells, erythroid cells, eosinophils and megakaryocytes. The kit reports a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 5.6 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.8% and an inter-assay CV of 8.3%. Spike-and-recovery testing in serum gave an average recovery of 101% (range 95-107%) and in plasma an average of 103% (range 97-109%). The associated UniProt entry is P08700.
