Human IL-2RB ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Interleukin-2 receptor subunit beta (IL-2RB) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay detects natural and recombinant human IL-2RB, also referenced by synonyms including High affinity IL-2 receptor subunit beta, Interleukin-15 receptor subunit beta, p70-75, p75, CD122 and IL15RB. Colourimetric detection is used to read results at 450 nm on a standard micro-plate reader.

The kit delivers a detection range of 7.8-500 U/mL with a sensitivity of 1.8 U/mL. Reported precision is 3.5% intra-assay CV and 6.5% inter-assay CV. Spike-and-recovery performance is given as Serum average 93% (range 87-99%) and Plasma average 95% (range 89-101%). Linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for Serum (95-105%, 86-96%, 111-120%, 92-102%), EDTA Plasma (109-119%, 111-120%, 103-113%, 107-117%) and Heparin Plasma (98-110%, 111-120%, 82-94%, 83-92%).

IL2RB is a single-pass type I membrane protein located at the cell surface and a component of the interleukin-2 receptor, which mediates receptor endocytosis and transduces the mitogenic signals of IL2. The kit is supplied with components stored between -20°C and 4°C as detailed in the package insert and is intended for research use only.
