Human IL-2RA ELISA Kit (HUEB0035)

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Interleukin-2 receptor subunit alpha (IL-2RA), also referred to as TAC antigen, p55, or CD25. The colorimetric assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and specifically detects natural and recombinant human IL-2RA.

IL2RA is a single-pass type I membrane protein that acts as a receptor for interleukin-2 and contributes to immune tolerance regulation by controlling regulatory T cell activity. According to the manufacturer's specifications, the kit has a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 43pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.3% and inter-assay CV is 9.2%. Linearity has been established across a dilution series (1:2 to 1:16) in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with recovery averaging 95% (range 89-101%) in serum and 97% (range 91-103%) in plasma.
