Human IL-29 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0770)

Human IL-29, also known as interferon lambda 1 (IFN-λ1), is a type III interferon that signals through the IFN-λ receptor complex (IFNLR1/IL-28Rα) to mediate antiviral defense and modulate mucosal immunity. The PharmaGenie ELISA from Assay Genie quantitatively measures human IL-29 in cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum using a pre-coated microplate and matched antibody pair.

The assay uses 100 µL of sample per well and includes a recombinant IL-29 standard curve spanning 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL, with a sensitivity of less than 7.8 pg/mL. Capture and detection antibodies are specific for human IL-29, with no significant cross-reactivity reported against related type I interferons or rodent cytokines, supporting applications in human-specific immunology, viral pathogenesis, and inflammation research.

Each kit provides reagents for one microplate run, including biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer concentrate, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate seals. Reagents should be refrigerated and the plate kept sealed with desiccant when not in use; protect from light and avoid freeze-thaw cycles for working dilutions.
