Human IL-28B/IL-28 beta ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human IL-28B (also referred to as Interleukin-28B, IL-28C, interferon lambda-3, and Cytokine Zcyto22). The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples of human origin. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C, where the kit remains stable for 12 months.

Performance characteristics: the assay has a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 85-94% to 85-98% for serum, 83-101% to 82-98% for EDTA plasma, and 82-100% to 80-95% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery ranges were 85-100% (average 94%) for serum, 86-101% (average 95%) for EDTA plasma, and 85-105% (average 95%) for heparin plasma.

The workflow comprises antigen binding at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody for 60 minutes, and HRP-streptavidin for 30 minutes, followed by TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes before stopping and reading absorbance at 450 nm. Kit components include a pre-coated dismountable microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled detection antibody concentrate, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual.
