Human IL-28A ELISA Kit (HUFI00173)

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human IL-28A in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The colorimetric assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format, with a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL.

IL-28A, also known as interferon lambda-2, is a cytokine that plays a vital role in the immune response against viral infections and has been implicated in various autoimmune diseases and inflammatory conditions, making it a key biomarker in research. Kit reagents should be stored at 2–8 °C and remain stable for 12 months. Performance has been validated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with recovery averaging approximately 97% and consistent linearity demonstrated across serial dilutions.

The protocol involves equilibrating reagents and the TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards and samples onto the pre-coated plate, sequential incubation with a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-streptavidin, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction read immediately at 450 nm.
