Human IL-24 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Interleukin-24 (IL-24) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a detection range of 0.078-5ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.05ng/mL. Intra CV is 4.3% and Inter CV is 7.5%.

The kit recognises both natural and recombinant human Interleukin-24. IL-24, also known as MDA-7 (melanoma differentiation-associated gene 7 protein) or suppression of tumorigenicity 16 protein, is a secreted cytokine belonging to the IL-10 family, reported to have antiproliferative properties on melanoma cells and to contribute to terminal cell differentiation.

Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples. Recovery ranges were 80-90% for serum and 80-92% for plasma.
