Human IL-22 ELISA Kit (HUES01392)

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Interleukin-22 (IL-22) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids using a colorimetric method. According to the manufacturer, the assay recognises human IL-22 in samples with no significant cross-reactivity or interference between IL-22 and analogues.

The reported sensitivity is 9.38 pg/mL with a detection range of 15.63–1000 pg/mL. The total assay time is 3 h 30 min and the recommended sample volume is 100 μL. Recovery is quoted as 80%–120%. Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and cell culture media at dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, and intra-assay and inter-assay precision data (n = 20 per sample) are provided.

IL-22 is a cytokine involved in immune responses and inflammation, with reported roles in autoimmune disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, psoriasis and cancer. The kit is intended for research use in the areas of cancer and immunology. Standard storage is at 2–8 °C, with several reagents (including the standard, detection antibody, HRP conjugate and ELISA plate) stored at –20 °C for 12 months.
