Human IL-20 ELISA Kit (HUFI00169)

From Assay Genie comes a Sandwich ELISA kit designed for the quantitative detection of human Interleukin-20. The assay is intended for research use only and serves immunology research workflows.

The kit uses colorimetric detection with a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/ml and a detection range of 62.5–4000 pg/ml. It is validated for serum and plasma sample types.

Interleukin-20 is a proinflammatory and angiogenic cytokine that may be involved in epidermal function and psoriasis. Its angiogenic and proliferative activities are antagonized by IL10, and it may signal through STAT3. The kit specifically detects natural and recombinant human Interleukin-20 (UniProt Q9NYY1, NCBI Gene ID 50604). The protein is secreted and belongs to the IL-10 family.
