The Assay Genie Human IL-2 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit delivers quantitative measurement of Interleukin-2 (IL-2), a critical cytokine governing T-cell proliferation, regulatory T-cell development, and immune homeostasis. This kit supports research into transplant tolerance, autoimmune disease mechanisms, cancer immunotherapy, checkpoint inhibitor biology, and vaccine adjuvant responses, where accurate IL-2 quantification informs both academic studies and pharmaceutical development pipelines.

Built around a human-specific capture antibody, the immunoassay is validated across cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, plasma, serum, and tissue lysates, accommodating workflows from in vitro cell-based experiments to preclinical animal studies. A 100 uL sample volume is loaded per well, with results interpolated against a recombinant IL-2 standard curve run on the same microplate.

Reagents are supplied as a complete kit with a pre-coated 96-well microplate format, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, lyophilized standards, wash buffer, and substrate solution. For research use only, all components should be stored refrigerated at 4 degrees C until first use; reconstituted standards are aliquoted and frozen to limit freeze-thaw exposure and preserve analyte integrity across long-term studies.

Typical applications include cytokine release profiling from activated lymphocytes, CAR-T cell expansion monitoring, immune checkpoint research, and potency release assays in cell therapy manufacturing. The protocol is compatible with standard microplate readers and standard curve fitting software, delivering reproducible performance across replicate wells and supporting translational immunology programs from discovery through preclinical development.
