Human IL-2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of human Interleukin 2 (IL-2) using a double-antibody detection method. The assay is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, with a reported sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a measurable range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL (1 pg = 21 mIU).

The procedure uses a pre-coated microplate to capture the target analyte. Standards and samples are incubated in designated wells, followed by addition of a biotinylated detection antibody that binds a separate epitope of the target protein. HRP-conjugated streptavidin and TMB substrate are then added to produce a colorimetric reaction, which is stopped with an acidic solution. Absorbance is measured at 450 nm, and the analyte concentration is determined from a standard curve. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for up to 12 months.
