Human IL-1R2 ELISA Kit (HUFI00166)

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Interleukin 1 Receptor Type 2 (IL1R2). The assay shows a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measuring range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-streptavidin conjugate, producing a chromogenic signal read at 450 nm after TMB development. Unopened components should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, with protected light conditions specified for the TMB substrate and conjugated reagents.

Linearity in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma falls between 82% and 105% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions, and average recovery ranges from 94% to 97% across the same matrices. IL1R2, also referenced as IL-1R2, CD121b, CDw121b, IL-1R-2, IL-1RT-2, IL-1RT2, IL1R2c and IL1RB (UniProt P27930), is implicated in inflammatory regulation and is of interest in autoimmune and cancer research.
