IL1R1 (UniProt P14778) is a single-pass type I membrane protein that functions as a receptor for IL1A, IL1B and IL1RN. It associates with the coreceptor IL1RAP to form the high-affinity interleukin-1 receptor complex, which mediates interleukin-1-dependent activation of NF-kappa-B, MAPK and other pathways. The protein has a reported molecular weight of 65,402 Da and is localised to the cell membrane, with secretion also reported. The kit is intended for research use only.
