Human IL-1B ELISA Kit (HUEB0197)

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1B), also referred to as Catabolin or IL1F2. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, accommodating serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity has been confirmed against natural and recombinant human Interleukin-1 beta, a potent proinflammatory cytokine that plays a central role in inflammatory and immune signalling.

The kit provides a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 7.8 pg/mL. Reported precision values are 5.7% intra-assay CV and 8.6% inter-assay CV. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions (1:2 to 1:16) of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, and recovery averages 102% (range 96-108%) in serum and 104% (range 98-110%) in plasma. Supplied components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate solution, stop solution and plate sealers.
