Human IL-19 ELISA Kit (HUEB0048)

From Assay Genie, this sandwich-format ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Interleukin-19 (IL-19) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is specific for natural and recombinant human IL-19, supporting immunology research including the study of inflammatory responses.

The kit provides a detection range of 31.2–2000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 15.65 pg/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 6.8% and an inter-assay CV of 11.2%. Spike-and-recovery performance is documented for serum (average 96%, range 90–102%) and plasma (average 98%, range 92–104%), with linearity assessed across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. The assay is intended for research use only.

IL-19 is a secreted cytokine of the IL-10 family, encoded at chromosomal location 1q32.2. It is preferentially expressed in monocytes and is reported to play important roles in inflammatory responses, including up-regulation of IL-6 and TNF-alpha and induction of apoptosis.
