Human IL-18R1/IL-18 receptor 1 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Interleukin-18 Receptor 1 (IL-18R1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody, colorimetric format with absorbance readout at 450 nm, a reported sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a standard range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL.

Spike-and-recovery testing gave average recoveries of 94% in serum, 97% in EDTA plasma and 94% in heparin plasma, with serum recovery range 85-100%, EDTA plasma 86-103% and heparin plasma 87-103%. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 95-102%, 88-99% and 83-99% for serum, 88-97%, 87-94% and 87-98% for EDTA plasma, and 88-104%, 88-100% and 88-97% for heparin plasma. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C with 12-month stability under those conditions.

The assay targets IL18R1, a receptor involved in the regulation of cytokine activity and inflammatory pathways, and supports research into autoimmune disorders, inflammatory diseases and cancer.
