The IL-18 receptor alpha chain (IL-18Rα, also called IL-1R5) is the ligand-binding subunit of the heterodimeric receptor for interleukin-18, a pro-inflammatory cytokine of the IL-1 family. This PharmaGenie ELISA kit from Assay Genie is supplied as a 96-assay microplate-based immunoassay that quantifies human IL-18Rα in cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum biofluids, with results read at a colorimetric endpoint.
