Human IL-17A ELISpot Pair

The Human IL-17A ELISpot Pair from Assay Genie provides matched capture and detection antibodies for single-cell cytokine secretion analysis. IL-17A is a pro-inflammatory ~17 kDa disulfide-linked homodimer produced chiefly by Th17 CD4+ T cells, gamma-delta T cells, and innate lymphoid cells, and is implicated in autoimmune pathogenesis, mucosal host defense against extracellular bacteria and fungi, and vaccine-induced cellular immunity. This ELISpot format enumerates antigen-specific IL-17A-secreting cells from peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) preparations, supporting immunology research into psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, ankylosing spondylitis, and inflammatory bowel disease. The pair is supplied for use with PVDF or nitrocellulose membrane-bottom plates and is compatible with cell culture supernatants and serum samples. Capture and detection antibody reagents should be stored refrigerated at 4 °C, protected from light, and not subjected to repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Each pair supports 96 Assays under standard ELISpot protocols using a streptavidin-enzyme readout with BCIP/NBT or TMB substrate development for spot enumeration.
