Human IL-17a ELISA Kit (HUEB0023)

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Interleukin-17A (IL-17A) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection format and is reactive with human samples only.

Performance characteristics reported by Assay Genie include a detection range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 8.9 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.1% and an inter-assay CV of 7.7%. Recovery is reported as an average of 93% (range 87–99%) for serum and 95% (range 89–101%) for plasma. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

IL-17A, also referred to by synonyms such as CTLA-8 and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 8, is recognised in its natural and recombinant forms. The target corresponds to UniProt entry Q16552. The kit is intended for research use only.
