Interleukin-17A (IL-17A) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine secreted predominantly by T helper 17 (Th17) cells and is implicated in chronic inflammatory disorders and autoimmune pathogenesis, making accurate quantification valuable for drug discovery and preclinical pharmacology studies. As part of the Assay Genie PharmaGenie range, this quantitative immunoassay is configured for pharmaceutical research workflows targeting indications such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and inflammatory bowel disease. The capture antibody is monoclonal and pre-coated onto the microplate, paired with a biotinylated detection reagent and streptavidin-HRP conjugate for TMB substrate color development. The capture reagent is human IL-17A-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity reported for IL-17B, IL-17C, IL-17D, IL-17E, or IL-17F.
