Human IL-17 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative detection of human IL-17 (Interleukin-17; also known as IL-17A and CTLA-8) using a double-antibody format. It reports a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL with a measuring range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL, and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Assessed linearity for serum runs 91-101% at 1:2, 88-101% at 1:4, and 86-99% at 1:8 dilution (n=5), with EDTA plasma at 82-100%, 85-98%, and 85-100% and heparin plasma at 85-100%, 89-96%, and 85-100% across the same dilution series. Spike-and-recovery performance is 91-104% in serum (mean 94%), 85-103% in EDTA plasma (mean 98%), and 86-105% in heparin plasma (mean 98%).

IL-17 is a cytokine central to the regulation of immune responses and inflammation, with elevated levels linked to autoimmune conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and multiple sclerosis. The kit is intended for cell biology and immunology research applications involving cytokine signalling.
