Human IL-15 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA-based immunoassay from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Interleukin-15 (IL-15). The assay uses a colorimetric detection format with double-antibody binding and is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 2.344 pg/mL and a standard curve range of 3.9–250 pg/mL, with 1 pg corresponding to 450 mIU. The workflow involves primary incubation of standards and samples on the pre-coated plate, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding, HRP-Streptavidin incubation, TMB substrate development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm following stop solution addition. Linearity has been validated across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with recovery values reported within typical immunoassay ranges for these matrices.

IL-15 (synonyms: IL-15, IL15; UniProt P40933) is a cytokine that regulates immune cell proliferation and activation, notably of natural killer and T cells, and is studied in the context of autoimmune, inflammatory, and oncological research. Reagents and prepared plates should be stored at 2–8 °C, with components stable for up to 12 months under recommended conditions.
