Human IL-12 p70 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human IL-12 p70. The colorimetric assay measures Interleukin 12 p70 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL (1pg=11mIU).

The protocol uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody followed by HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding and TMB substrate development, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Primary incubation is performed at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, and HRP-Streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Sample preparation guidance covers serum (centrifuge 1000 × g for 20 minutes), plasma (centrifuge 1000 × g for 15 minutes at 2-8°C), tissue homogenate, cell culture supernatant, and cell lysate protocols. Linearity ranges from 82-104% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with recovery averages of 95% (serum), 93% (EDTA plasma), and 94% (heparin plasma).

IL-12 p70 is a key cytokine in immune regulation, playing a crucial role in Th1 cell development and natural killer cell activation.
