Human IL-10 ELISA Kit (HUEB0016)

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human IL-10 (Interleukin-10; synonyms include cytokine synthesis inhibitory factor and CSIF). The assay is reactive with human samples and uses a colorimetric detection method, with validated compatibility for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

According to the manufacturer's validation data, the kit has a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 10 pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported at 4.7% and inter-assay CV at 6.2%. Recovery in serum is on average 100% (range 94-106%) and in plasma 102% (range 96-108%). Specificity is stated for natural and recombinant human Interleukin-10.

IL-10 is a secreted homodimeric cytokine placed in the immunology research area. It inhibits the synthesis of a number of cytokines, including IFN-gamma, IL-2, IL-3, TNF and GM-CSF produced by activated macrophages and by helper T-cells. UniProt accession P22301. For research use only.
