Human IkB-alpha ELISA Kit

A quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie designed to measure IκB-α levels in human samples, using a sandwich ELISA double-antibody format with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm.

The kit targets IκB-α (NFKBIA), a regulator of the NF-κB signalling pathway involved in immune responses, inflammation and cell survival, with dysregulation linked in research to cancer, inflammatory disorders and autoimmune diseases. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions spans 85–94% to 90–102% for serum, 84–100% to 83–100% for EDTA plasma, and 81–95% to 86–99% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 93–102% (serum, average 97%), 85–103% (EDTA plasma, average 93%) and 95–105% (heparin plasma, average 99%). The kit is intended for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months.
