Description
From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the precise quantification of human Immunoglobulin M (IgM) across a broad range of sample types, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. Built on a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, it offers a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a measurable range of 1.563–100 ng/mL, supporting reproducible results for immunology research and clinical investigations into infection, immune response, and related disorders.
Validated performance includes linearity of 85–104% in serum, 83–98% in EDTA plasma, and 85–95% in heparin plasma across dilution ranges, with recovery averaging 95% (serum), 99% (EDTA plasma), and 93% (heparin plasma). The sandwich ELISA workflow involves reagent and plate preparation, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody binding, 30-minute HRP-streptavidin step, 10–20 minute TMB colour development, and absorbance reading at 450 nm. Reagents are intended for storage at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.
Supplied components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, HRP-labelled antibody concentrate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual. This kit has been cited in published research, including a review of test kits for COVID-19.
