Human IGIP/IgA-inducing protein homolog ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this competitive ELISA uses a coated-antigen format for the measurement of IgA-inducing protein homolog (IGIP; UniProt A6NJ69) in human samples. The assay achieves a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL across a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB-based colorimetric detection.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with linearity and recovery data established for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. The procedure uses a biotin-labelled antibody paired with an HRP–streptavidin conjugate in the competitive configuration.

IGIP is described as a key protein involved in the regulation of IgA production, an important component of mucosal immunity, making it a relevant biomarker in immune-related research. The kit is stored sealed at 2–8°C and must not be cryopreserved.
