Human IgG2/Immunoglobulin G2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human IgG2 (Immunoglobulin G2) ELISA Kit is a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody assay developed for the quantification of IgG2 in human samples. The colorimetric assay is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is intended for research applications including studies of antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity and immune regulation. Elevated IgG2 levels have been associated with autoimmune diseases, infections, and inflammatory conditions, making the kit a useful biomarker tool for immune response and disease progression research.

The assay delivers a sensitivity of 0.281 ng/mL and a measuring range of 0.469-30 ng/mL. Linearity was evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions: serum (n=5) showed 90-103%, 85-101%, and 85-100%; EDTA plasma (n=5) showed 89-102%, 92-99%, and 80-92%; and heparin plasma (n=5) showed 87-95%, 93-97%, and 82-99%. Recovery testing returned ranges of 85-104% for serum (average 98%), 89-102% for EDTA plasma (average 95%), and 86-105% for heparin plasma (average 93%). The workflow uses biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin chemistry with TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Kit components should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, with the lyophilized standard and microplate strips also suitable for 12-month storage at -20°C.
