Human IGFBP7 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables the in vitro quantitative determination of Human IGFBP-7 concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The double antibody format uses colorimetric detection, with a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/ml and an assay range of 31.25–2000 pg/ml. IGFBP-7 (Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 7) is encoded by the IGFBP7 gene at chromosomal location 4q12 and is known by aliases including IGFBP-rP1, MAC25, PSF, RAMSVPS, TAF, AGM, FSTL2 and IBP-7. According to UniProt entry Q16270, the protein binds IGF-I and IGF-II with relatively low affinity, stimulates prostacyclin production and supports cell adhesion.

Recovery has been demonstrated in serum (average 98%, range 91–105%), EDTA plasma (average 98%, range 91–103%) and UFH plasma (average 94%, range 91–100%), with linearity between 81–104% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions. Intra-assay CV is below 8% and inter-assay CV below 10%. The kit is intended for research use only and is stored at 4°C for six months.
