Human IGFBP3 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human IGFBP3 (Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein 3) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody, colorimetric assay has a sensitivity of 0.234 ng/mL and a working range of 0.391–25 ng/mL, and is intended for research applications measuring this biomarker in human samples.

IGFBP3 regulates the bioavailability of insulin-like growth factors, influencing cell growth, differentiation and survival. Dysregulation of IGFBP3 has been linked to cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disorders, highlighting its value as a biomarker for disease-progression and therapeutic-development studies. The protocol involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples and blanks onto the pre-coated plate and incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by a 60-minute incubation with biotin-labelled detection antibody, a 30-minute incubation with HRP-Streptavidin, colour development with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, addition of stop solution, and immediate absorbance reading at 450 nm.

Kit components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled antibody concentrate, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample, antibody and SABC dilution buffers, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer and a technical manual. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
