Assay Genie's IGFBP-6 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit provides quantitative measurement of human insulin-like growth factor binding protein 6 in research samples. IGFBP-6 is distinguished among the six IGF binding proteins by its preferential, high-affinity sequestration of IGF-II over IGF-I, making it a target of interest in studies of IGF axis regulation, tumor cell proliferation, apoptosis, and metabolic signaling.
