The Human IGFALS ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a sandwich-format colorimetric immunoassay for quantitative measurement of the acid labile subunit in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. IGFALS is a key component of the circulating 150 kDa ternary complex that binds IGF-1 and IGFBP-3, regulating IGF half-life and bioavailability. The kit is widely used in studies of growth hormone axis function, pediatric growth disorders, short stature, SGA (small for gestational age) follow-up, and metabolic research.

Assay procedure: dilute standards and samples into the pre-coated 96-well microplate, incubate with biotinylated detection antibody, wash, then add streptavidin-HRP conjugate. Read absorbance at 450 nm using a standard microplate reader. Typical analytical sensitivity is around 0.1 ng/mL with a standard curve range suitable for clinical serum samples. Each kit contains a 96-well plate, plate sealers, wash buffer, assay diluent, standards, detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, TMB substrate, and stop solution.

Storage and handling: unopened kits are shipped refrigerated and should be stored at 2-8 degrees C until expiration; reconstituted reagents and unused strips should be kept at -20 degrees C in aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles. All components are for research use only and are intended for in vitro laboratory work, not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
