The Assay Genie PharmaGenie ELISA enables precise quantification of Insulin-like Growth Factor 2 Receptor (IGF2R), also known as the cation-independent mannose-6-phosphate receptor (CI-M6PR), in human samples. This multi-ligand receptor binds IGF2 and mannose-6-phosphate-tagged ligands, supporting IGF2 clearance and lysosomal enzyme trafficking, making it a focus in cancer biology, imprinting research, and metabolic studies.

IGF2R is an imprinted gene expressed from the maternal allele and maps to chromosome 6q25, a region linked to growth phenotypes and Silver-Russell syndrome. Researchers apply this ELISA to quantify receptor levels across cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum for biomarker discovery and signaling pathway analysis.
