Human IGF2R/M6P ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for quantitative measurement of human Insulin-like Growth Factor 2 Receptor (IGF2R), also referred to as M6P-R or CD222, the Human IGF2R/M6P ELISA Kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The manufacturer reports a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.625–40 ng/mL. The kit is for human-sample research within the signal transduction area, with relevance to studies of cancer, diabetes, and growth disorders.

Linearity data supplied by Assay Genie at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions shows percentage recovery of 86–97%, 88–92%, and 93–99% for serum (n=5); 85–99%, 88–101%, and 90–97% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 80–96%, 87–99%, and 80–98% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery across the same matrices averaged 92% for serum (range 86–99%), 93% for EDTA plasma (range 89–98%), and 93% for heparin plasma (range 86–105%).

The assay workflow covers equilibrating reagents and loading standards, samples, and controls onto the pre-coated plate; primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes; biotinylated detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes; HRP-streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes; TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes; and absorbance reading at 450 nm following stop solution addition. Unopened kit components should be stored at 2–8°C and are reported stable for 12 months under those conditions.
