Human IGF-1 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0699)

Assay Genie's PharmaGenie ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of human insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), a 7.5 kDa polypeptide hormone central to growth hormone signaling, mitogenic activity, and metabolic regulation. The kit delivers a colorimetric readout on a standard microplate and is validated for cell culture supernatants, heparin or EDTA plasma, and clotted serum specimens drawn from human subjects.

IGF-1 circulates at high nanomolar concentrations in adult blood, mostly bound to IGF-binding proteins, and serves as a downstream marker in somatotropic-axis research. Investigators studying pediatric growth, acromegaly, GH deficiency, diabetes and insulin-resistance models, and oncology work where IGF-1 receptor signaling is implicated can apply this kit to banked or freshly prepared samples.
