Human IgA1/Immunoglobulin A1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double antibody method with colorimetric detection for the in vitro quantitative determination of Human IgA1 (Immunoglobulin A1) concentrations in human serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. Intended for research use only, the kit supports work in mucosal immunity, autoimmune disease, allergic reactions, and infections, where IgA1 levels can be indicative of immune-related status.

Performance is reported with a sensitivity of 1.5 ng/ml and a working range of 2.5-160 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing across matrices gave average recoveries of 98% in serum (range 94-105%), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 87-97%), and 96% in UFH plasma (range 90-105%). Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions was 85-99%, 98-105%, and 86-105% in serum; 83-91%, 83-101%, and 83-99% in EDTA plasma; and 80-86%, 90-98%, and 82-98% in UFH plasma. Precision is given as intra-assay CV<8% and inter-assay CV<10%.

Supplied components include a dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, sample/standard dilution buffer, biotin-labeled antibody, antibody dilution buffer, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC) with its dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, 25× wash buffer, and plate sealer. The kit is stored at 4°C for 6 months.
