Human IgA-inducing protein homolog (IGIP) ELISA Kit

This colorimetric ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate detection of IgA-inducing protein homolog (IGIP) levels in human biological samples. It is a competitive ELISA intended for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and related sample types, and the target protein is identified by the synonym C5orf53 and UniProt accession A6NJ69.

The assay reports a detection range of 0.312-20ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.1ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 7.1% and inter-assay CV of 10.3%. Specificity is established against natural and recombinant human IGIP. Recovery is reported as 100% for serum (range 94-106%) and 102% for plasma (range 96-108%), and linearity values are provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. The IGIP protein is secreted, mapped to chromosome 5q31, has a molecular weight of 5,937 Da, and functions to enhance IgA secretion from B-cells stimulated via CD40.
