Human IFT88 ELISA Kit (HUFI03849)

IFT88 (Intraflagellar Transport Protein 88), also known as TTC10 or Polaris/Tg737, is a core component of the intraflagellar transport-B (IFT-B) complex that drives anterograde ciliary assembly and protein trafficking along microtubules. This kit enables quantitative measurement of IFT88 in human samples, supporting research on ciliopathies such as Bardet-Biedl syndrome, Senior-Løken syndrome, Joubert syndrome, nephronophthisis, and autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease, as well as studies of Hedgehog signal transduction and non-canonical Wnt/planar cell polarity pathways.

The Assay Genie workflow uses a pre-coated microplate and a biotinylated detection antibody followed by streptavidin-HRP and a TMB substrate, read on a standard plate reader. Capture and detection antibodies are specific to human IFT88, minimizing cross-reactivity in studies of renal tubular epithelium, retinal photoreceptors, and embryonic node cilia.

Reagents are supplied in vials and should be stored refrigerated; allow all components to equilibrate to room temperature before running the assay and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The kit is for research use only.
