Human IFN-omega/IFNW1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich, double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie, this kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of IFN Omega (IFNW1) in human samples. IFN Omega is a type I interferon protein involved in the immune response against viral infections and other pathogens, and in regulating inflammatory and immune signalling pathways, making the kit a useful tool for research into autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases, and cancer. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and detection is colorimetric.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Linearity has been verified in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8, with serum showing 93–103%, 88–97% and 90–104%, EDTA plasma 88–98%, 84–97% and 83–100%, and heparin plasma 84–99%, 87–99% and 87–100%. Recovery ranges are 86–103% (average 95%) in serum, 86–104% (average 95%) in EDTA plasma, and 92–104% (average 99%) in heparin plasma. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months and is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, dilution buffers, wash buffer and stop solution.
