Human IFN-gamma PharmaGenie ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of IFN-gamma (also known as IFN-g) in human samples, including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method and was developed with pharmaceutical and biotech research sectors in mind, making it a key tool for immunology research.

Key features include a highly optimised monoclonal antibody pair for specific and sensitive analyte detection, a high-quality purified recombinant protein to generate consistent standard curves, and reagents validated to ISO 9001:2000 quality systems. Standards are calibrated to NIBSC. The pre-coated strip plates support a fast protocol for target validation and analysis. The assay recognises both natural and recombinant human IFN-g, with no cross reactivity with other human cytokines tested, though cross reactivity with simian IFN-g has been observed.

Performance-wise, the assay range spans 12.5 pg/ml to 400 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 5 pg/ml. Each test uses a sample volume of 100 µl and a total incubation of 2h40. The kit includes pre-coated strip plates, biotinylated secondary antibody, standards, controls (where applicable), buffers, streptavidin-HRP, TMB, stop reagents and a detailed procedure.
