Human IFN-alpha C/IFN-alpha 10  ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of IFN-alpha C (also referred to as IFN-alpha-10, IFNA10, Interferon alpha-10, Interferon alpha-6L, Interferon alpha-C, and LeIF C) in human samples. The double-antibody sandwich ELISA uses colorimetric detection and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375 ng/mL and an assay range of 15.625–1000 ng/mL. Spike-and-recovery testing in serum (n = 5) returned averages of 93% (range 91–98%), EDTA plasma (n = 5) averaged 91% (range 85–99%), and heparin plasma (n = 5) averaged 94% (range 87–102%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions spanned 83–103% for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. The protocol comprises a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody incubation, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin step, 10–20 minutes of TMB colour development in the dark, and an absorbance readout at 450 nm after the stop solution. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C, with the lyophilised standard and plate strips additionally suitable for –20°C storage.
