Built around the IFIT5 interferon-induced protein, this Assay Genie ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of an IFN-induced tetratricopeptide-repeat factor that contributes to innate antiviral defense. IFIT5 is upregulated by type I interferon signaling, binds viral single-stranded RNA, and participates in translational suppression of non-self transcripts, so its concentration can serve as a downstream readout of innate immune activation in human samples.

Each kit is supplied as a 96 Assays microplate format intended for research use only, and the assay is commonly deployed in studies of viral restriction pathways, hepatitis biology, vaccine response profiling, and interferon-stimulated gene induction in patient cohorts or cell line models.
